Passport counters to close nationwide on April 8 for system upgrade

KUALA LUMPUR: Come April 8, passport counters nationwide will be closed to enable the upgrading of the Malaysian Immigration System (myIMMS).

The Immigration Department, in a statement, here said the passport counters at the its headquarters and branches in the Urban Transformation Centres and the Rural Transformation Centres would be closed from 12am to 11.59pm.
