Citizenship not revoked for Malaysians involved in terrorism, Dewan Rakyat told

KUALA LUMPUR: The Malaysians who are involved in terrorist activities in Syria and Iraq have not had their citizenship revoked, the Dewan Rakyat was told Tuesday.

In a written reply to Lim Lip Eng (DAP-Segambut), the Home Ministry said it has four criteria that could result in the revocation of citizenship, and having terrorist links is not one of them.
