Zahid: Hadi’s Bill will not go for a vote in Parliament

PETALING JAYA: Deputy Prime Minister Datuk Seri Dr Ahmad Zahid Hamidi (pic) is confident that the Private Member’s Bill to amend the Syariah Courts (Criminal Juris­diction) Act or RUU355 will not be voted on during the current Parliament meeting which ends on April 6.

However, he said it was up to the Dewan Rakyat Speaker to make a decision on the matter.
