Liow: MCA strongly opposes Hadi's Bill

KUALA LUMPUR: MCA will strongly oppose the proposed amendments to the Syariah Courts (Criminal Jurisdiction) Act, or RUU 355, based on the version tabled by PAS president Datuk Seri Abdul Hadi Awang.

MCA president Datuk Seri Liow Tiong Lai (pic) reiterated that all laws and policies must not go against the spirit of the Federal Constitution.
