PETALING JAYA: While most foreigners shy away from the King of Fruits, CNN anchor Richard Quest just loves it.

The famed English broadcast journalist was seen enjoying his fair share of Musang King durian at a durian stall in SS2 here on Sunday.

“Enjoying durian in KL. Don’t know what the fuss is about. Fresh durian is lovely and fruity. Taste is rich and creamy,” Quest said on Twitter.

He tweeted several photos of him enjoying the pungent fruit with the hashtag #notthatbad.

He added that the price of durian is skyrocketing because of growing demand from China.

Quest was in Kuala Lumpur last week to moderate the Global Transformation Forum.
