Ministry to conduct full investigation


TENGKU Ampuan Rahimah Hospital, Klang (HTAR) would like to state that the patient named Laraniya Wilbert was brought in an unconscious state to the Emergency Unit of HTAR at 9.30pm on March 20, 2017 with body spasms, “Doctor claims four-year-old died – before arrival at hospital” (The Star, March 24).

Initial examination of the patient found that she showed no signs of life and cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) was initiated by emergency medicine specialists. The measures failed to resuscitate the patient, however.
