JOHOR BARU: A mother and daughter were arrested for allegedly stealing various items of daily essentials worth RM1,300 at a supermarket in Taman Bukit Indah, here.

Iskandar Puteri District police chief Supt Noor Hashim Mohamad said the two, aged 58 and 30, were arrested at about 1pm Saturday by a security guard at the supermarket before a police report was lodged at about 5.30pm.
