Sarawak’s stand on RUU355 relayed to PM, says Abang Johari

KUCHING: The Sarawak government has stated its stand on the Private Member's Bill seeking to amend the Syariah Courts (Criminal Jurisdiction) Act 1965 (Act 355), to Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak.

Chief Minister Datuk Amar Abang Johari Tun Openg (pic) said their stand was conveyed to Najib after he (Abang Johari) had met up with the Sarawak members of Parliament on the matter.
