KUALA LUMPUR: Academician Dr Kassim Ahmad can now proceed at the High Court to get damages over his invalid arrest and prosecution by the Federal Territory Islamic Religious Department (Jawi).
Yesterday, senior assistant registrar Nurul Aini Yahya set April 27, for both Jawi and the Government to file an affidavit for the hearing on the assessment on damages.
