PETALING JAYA: A former car wash attendant who hurt his wife with a parang was jailed a year by the magistrate's court here Monday.

Magistrate Salamiah Salleh meted out the punishment to M. Meganathan, 29, after the accused pleaded guilty to intentionally hurting his wife G. Hemalatha, 24, with a parang.
