SUBANG JAYA: The Penang government has refuted claims by Gerakan that the state was insincere in offering land for non-Muslim places of worship near a sewage pond.
State executive councillor Lim Hock Seng, who is in charge of Works, Transportation and Utilities, said the land is located in a township surrounded by houses and flats.
