GEORGE TOWN: Industrialists believe balanced development on the island and mainland could happen through the Penang Transport Master Plan (PTMP) but warned that the plan may need fine-tuning.

“I think we have been blamed for always focusing on the island. So now, with this plan, we can help develop both sides,” said Federation of Malaysian Manufacturers (FMM) Penang vice-chairman K.K. Hun.
