JOHOR BARU: A 57-year-old man was arrested over an offensive statement against Johor Ruler Sultan Ibrahim Sultan Iskandar.

Johor police chief Datuk Seri Wan Ahmad Najmuddin Mohd said the man was detained following a report of social media abuse on Friday over remarks that could threaten the country's harmony and prosperity.
