SIBU: A district officer has been jailed three months and fined RM10,000 after being found guilty of making a false claim.
Wan Akil Wan Ahmad, 51, who was the Selangau district officer, was accused of submitting a claim of RM860 to the state treasury on Aug 14, 2014, for food allowance, lodging and taxi fare.
