Kite festival off to flying start

PASIR GUDANG: Colourful and unique kites of various shapes and sizes soared and danced in the sky as the 22nd World Kite Festival took off at Bukit Layang-Layang here.

The five-day event drew about 1,000 kite flyers including 235 foreigners from 40 countries such as Australia, Brazil, China, France, Germany, Indonesia, Japan, Singapore, Russia and Ukraine.
