KOTA KINABALU: Sabah is evaluating the safety aspects of sea transport for tourists, including the use of catamarans in open seas.
State Tourism, Culture and Environment Minister Datuk Masidi Manjun said they were studying safety issues comprehensively before making recommendations to the licensing authorities for the issuance of permits to operators.
