KUALA LUMPUR: Tan Sri Syed Hamid Albar (pic) has decided not to take up a contract extension as Organisation of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) special envoy to Myanmar.
He said the Jeddah-based OIC had offered a three-month renewal for the job but he declined the offer as it was too short a period for him to perform his duties.
