JAKARTA: Indonesian police say they will not interfere in the Malaysian criminal investigation of a woman holding an Indonesian passport allegedly involved in the killing of Kim Jong-nam, the elder half-brother of North Korean leader Kim Jong-un.

The Indonesian police's public relations division chief Boy Rafli Amar said Thursday that Indonesia respected the legal process in Malaysia and would leave it to the authorities to conduct their investigation.
