A DYING raintree at the entrance of Penang Botanic Gardens will be removed in May, Kwong Wah Yit Poh reported.
Penang Botanic Gardens Department director Mohd Azwa Shah Ahmad said its site would be turned into a fern habitat after the 131-year-old raintree scientifically known as samanea saman is removed.
