KUALA LUMPUR: Malaysian police will investigate five men, believed to be members of a syndicate trafficking in pil kuda or yaba pills, before responding to a request from their Thai counterparts to interrogate a suspected Malaysian drug trafficker.
Bukit Aman Narcotics Crime Investigation Department (NCID) director Comm Datuk Seri Mohd Mokhtar Mohd Shariff said it was still premature to determine whether the person sought by Thai authorities was indeed one of the five suspects nabbed.
