PUTRAJAYA: A group of pro-Barisan Nasional NGOs are claiming that Datuk Seri Shafie Apdal awarded projects worth millions to a company owned by his current party vice-president when he was an Umno minister.

The group’s leader, Datuk Zulkarnain Mahdar, lodged a report with the Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC) over the allegation, saying Shafie, Parti Warisan Sabah president, had to answer to the authorities over the issue.
