MCA calls for halt to politicking during festivals

MCA president Datuk Seri Liow Tiong Lai, MCA deputy president Datuk Seri Dr Wee Ka Siong and other party leaders at the Kaigong or back-to-work ceremony on Thursday.

PETALING JAYA:  MCA has called for the opposition to practice a truce in all politicking, especially during cultural and religious festivals.

MCA said this following speculation that lion dancers refused to dance for the Prime Minister at the Gerakan Chinese New Year open house.
