Sabah police monitoring Tawau, other locations allegedly used by militants

KOTA KINABALU: Sabah police are keeping a close watch on several locations in the state that have been identified as routes for militants to get to the southern Philippines.

Sabah Police Commissioner Datuk Ramli Din said police have identified several locations in the state, including Tawau, which are allegedly used by Islamic State (IS) militants and will take appropriate action.
