Chong: Conforming school staff must be 50% Chinese

PETALING JAYA: The Education Ministry is starting a project to ensure that all conforming schools in the country meet the requirement to have at least 50% of teachers who are of Chinese origin.

Deputy Education Minister Datuk Chong Sin Woon (pic) said the ministry would work with the Malaysian Conforming Secondary Schools Principals Council to gather information on the number of Chinese teachers in these schools.
