Leukaemia youth fulfilling last wish dies in Madinah

KUALA TERENGGANU: A final-stage leukaemia patient, Muhammad Ramadhan Alias (pic), whose last wish was to perform the umrah, has passed away in Madinah, Saudi Arabia.

The last time his family members saw him was when the 20-year-old was given an emotional send-off at the Sultan Mahmud here airport on Tuesday where he and his mother, Saibah Yaacob, 58, were leaving for Mecca to perform the umrah.
