The 'Bridge of Love' connecting Malacca and Johor collapses

With the collapse fo the bridge, the two villages are separated by the waters of Sg Rambai once again.

MALACCA: A bridge that stood for 30 years and signified the "love" between two neighbouring states has come tumbling down after a heavy downpour on Friday.

The bridge, popularly know as "Jambatan Kasih (Bridge of Love)", was built in 1986 and straddled Sungai Rambai, which formed part of the border between Malacca and Johor.
