PUTRAJAYA: A government officer has been held for allegedly accepting around RM500,000 in bribes from a rice wholesaler here.
The assistant enforcement officer, attached with the Agriculture and Agro-based Industry Ministry, has been remanded to facilitate the Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission's investigation into the alleged graft and abuse of power.
