Court says has jurisdiction to hear Fahmi Reza's application for charge to be dropped

KUALA LUMPUR: The High Court here has dismissed a preliminary objection by the prosecution against an application by graphic designer Mohd Fahmi Reza Mohd Zarin for the charge against him in relation to posting an edited image of the Prime Minister to be dropped.

Judicial Commissioner Mohamad Shariff Abu Samah made the order Wednesday stating that the court has the jurisdiction to hear Mohd Fahmi Reza's application.
