Malaysian militants killed in Syria airstrike

KUALA LUMPUR: Three Malaysian Islamic State (IS) militants, including one shown in a video threatening attacks against the Government, have been killed in clashes with Syrian forces.

Based on an intelligence report received by the police, the three – Zainuri Kamaruddin, Ahmad Asyraf Arbee Ahmad Jamal Arbee and Sazrizal Mohd Sofian Tahyalan – were killed when Syrian forces carried out an air strike on the IS stronghold in Raqqah, Syria, on Friday.
