GEORGE TOWN: For Muslim convert Zarina Abdullah, Ponggal (Harvest Festival) is a time for celebration with various communities.

“I never miss this festival every year as it has a universal theme of thanking Mother Nature for the abundance it gives us, and I share this with all my friends,” said the 62-year-old housewife and social activist yesterday.
