Abdul Rahman: Dr Mahathir backtracks on GST, BR1M

PETALING JAYA: Datuk Abdul Rahman Dahlan (pic) says former premier Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad backtracked on his criticisms against the Goods and Services Tax (GST) and 1Malaysia People’s Aid (BR1M).

The Minister in the Prime Minister's Department said Dr Mahathir knew that "cash transfers like BR1M was popular and effective" which was why he made the "U-turn".
