KOTA KINABALU: As state officials sift through tip-offs on poachers, looking for those who killed two bull elephants recently, they have been advised to be cautious about publicising Sabah’s wildlife assets.
State Tourism, Culture and Environment Minister Datuk Seri Masidi Manjun said the poachers could have been alerted to the elephant with uniquely reversed tusks by earlier press reports featuring it.
