JOHOR BARU: The country's first International Sand Sculpture Festival promises visitors “an experience from another world”. The festival, to cost RM1.5mil, will feature works from world-renowned sand sculptors including from China, Japan and Taiwan.

Sculptures built by the world’s top sand sculptors, including last year’s world champion Wang Jie from China and runner-up Hosaka Toshihiko from Japan, will be on display.
