SERDANG: It is quite a peaceful place, a light industrial park dotted with car workshops and small factories.

Here, at the Sri Serdang Industrial Park, there is a big presence of foreign workers. Local coffee shop owners and traders described them as mostly law-abiding people concerned more about earning a living.
