MACC can go ahead and probe Puspakom, says Liow

BENTONG: The Transport Ministry has no objection to the Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC) investigating alleged corrupt practices at the Computerised Vehicle Inspection Centre (Puspakom) nationwide.

The allegation was serious and should be looked into to prevent people from making such accusations against agencies under the ministry such as Puspakom and the Road Transport Department whenever accidents involving many deaths occurred, said Transport Minister Datuk Seri Liow Tiong Lai.
