Situation in flood-hit Terengganu improves, evacuees now 1,022

KUALA TERENGGANU: The situation in flood-hit areas in Terengganu improved Monday, with the number of evacuees at relief centres dropping to 1,022 as at 8am from 1,606 at 10pm Sunday.

Terengganu Civil Defence Force director Lt Col (PA) Che Adam A Rahman said the evacuees, from 302 families, were being house at 21 relief centres in five districts of the state.
