PETALING JAYA: The Public Works Department (PWD) is creating more designs for government buildings now that it is mandatory to use its pre-approved plan (PAP) for the construction of 17 types of buildings.
Deputy Works Minister Datuk Rosnah Abdul Rashid Shirlin said currently, PWD had completed 100 designs for 17 types of buildings and it was in the process of creating 50 more designs by the end of next year so that ministries and agencies would have a wider choice of designs to choose from.
