Government: Six million trees planted this year

TANGKAK: In an effort to instil awareness among the public to love their forests, the Government, through the Natural Resources and Environment Ministry has planted more than six million trees nationwide this year.

Its Deputy Minister Datuk Hamim Samuri said the they had succeeded in achieving its Key Performance Indicator (KPI) which targeted the planting of five million trees a year.
