Budding designer’s bar stool picked to be manufactured

JOHOR BARU: An Art and Design final-year student could not contain his happiness after one of his creations was chosen through a competition to be manufactured by a designer furniture company.

Southern University College (SUC) student Yap Jia Huei, 21, who won the Harmony at Home competition organised by More Design Creation Sdn Bhd (MDC), impressed the judges with his v-shaped stool he calls the Vifferent Bar Stool.
