JOHOR BARU: Johor police will beef up operations at public and sensitive areas, especially at the two land entry points at the Causeway and the Second Link crossing in Gelang Patah during the festive season, says CPO Comm Datuk Seri Wan Ahmad Najmuddin Mohd.
The move comes after Inspector-General of Police Tan Sri Khalid Abu Bakar ordered his men to step up safety measures at several sensitive and public places during the Christmas and New Year holidays.
