Firm fined for not abiding by Minimum Wages Order

PETALING JAYA: A company supplying cleaners was fined RM30,600 for failing to comply with the Minimum Wages Order 2016.

Magistrate Muhammad Azali Ibrahim imposed the fine yesterday on Syarikat Sinar Jernih Sdn Bhd, represented by its director Ibrahim Desa@Din, 48, after he pleaded guilty on behalf of the company to 17 charges involving 17 workers.
