IGP praises Tiger Platoon over strike against Filipino gunmen

PETALING JAYA: Inspector-General of Police Tan Sri Khalid Abu Bakar (pic) has applauded the Malaysian security forces who were involved in a shootout with Filipino gunmen believed to be behind cross-border kidnappings.

"Congratulations Tiger Platoon PGA (General Operations Force) for neutralising three and detaining three other kidnappers and rescuing a kidnap victim in Bakapit, Semporna," said Khalid in a tweet on Friday.
