KUALA LUMPUR: The High Court has dismissed an appeal by the Bar Council to set aside an order of the Advocates and Solicitors Disciplinary Board which cleared senior lawyer Tan Sri Cecil Abraham of a complaint of misconduct in March.

The complaint against Abraham centred on him having allegedly been involved in the drafting of a second statutory declaration by the late private investigator P. Balasubramaniam in relation to the murder trial of Mongolian Altantuya Shaariibuu.
