Zahid: Component parties must work together

BARISAN Nasional component parties should take care of their respective communities in order to help the coalition win support, said Umno vice-president Datuk Seri Dr Ahmad Zahid Hamidi.

While agreeing with MCA president Datuk Seri Liow Tiong Lai’s view that a component party’s loss in any election was Barisan’s loss, he said it was the responsibility of the individual parties to strengthen their own members.
