KOTA KINABALU: Generations of Kadazandusun children have been told the story of Huminodun, the girl who sacrificed herself so that humankind could be fed.

Now, the rest of the world can hear her story too, with a movie based on the legend coming to the big screen in time for next year's Kaamatan (Harvest Festival) celebrations in May.
