PETALING JAYA: The Star Online has reached a new milestone as it reaches a million Twitter followers, making it the Malaysian English news portal with the largest Twitter following.
Since The Star Online joined Twitter in March 2009, the number of followers has increased steadily over the years. After five years, at March 2014, the number stood at 350,000 but it has grown exponentially over the past couple of years.
