KUALA LUMPUR: Umno must take the lead in helping Malaysians reinterpret the meaning of democracy, said party vice-president Datuk Seri Dr Ahmad Zahid Hamidi.
The Deputy Prime Minister said democracy should be translated not through street demonstrations but the election process, where the party that emerges victorious gets to govern the country.
