KUALA LUMPUR: Kulai MP Teo Nie Ching has been giving bare statistics on the country’s Chinese vernacular schools and has failed to present the right picture on the situation, says MCA deputy president Datuk Seri Dr Wee Ka Siong.

Teo had earlier claimed that there were only 1,298 Chinese vernacular schools this year, 48 less than in 1970, despite a rise in student enrolment.
