IPOH: More malaria cases have been detected among the orang asli in Pos Kemar, Hulu Perak, as 77 people now test positive for the Plasmodium vivax (P. vivax) species of the disease as of Friday evening.
State Health director Datuk Dr Juita Ghazalie said of the 77, 65 have been admitted to the Grik Hospital and another eight are being warded at the Kuala Kangsar Hospital.
