KUCHING: Hit by falling oil prices and a weak ringgit, Sarawak has tabled a deficit budget for the first time in 15 years.
Chief Minister Tan Sri Adenan Satem said the 2017 state budget anticipated a deficit of RM385mil based on expected total revenue of RM5.3bil against total ordinary expenditure of RM5.7bil.
